Founded by Patrick Hwang in 2016, the Architectural Explorer Programme (AEP) is a short course designed for secondary school students from Hong Kong and abroad to acquire experience in studio-based learning. The two weeks long programme not only offers a great opportunity for youngsters curious about design and architecture, it also offers current students of architecture a chance to teach and share their experience as students of architecture. Since the founding of the programme in 2016, the enrollment rate has grown exponentially by over 200%. At least 65% of the students were successfully admitted to various schools of architecture in Hong Kong, the UK, and America after the programme.
