1.0 CITY AS A REPOSITORY
A city’s identity is shaped by its attitude towards the past, present and future. What and how a city chooses to collect and dispose of its artefacts, directly influence the imagination of its people. We are interested in the city for its capacity to collect artefacts. We are equally intrigued by architecture’s potential to organise the artefacts to tell a tale. City as a Repository is a research that studies the Archive from the typological perspective, and the Mask as a mean to represent the content it holds.
